Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the week. ~Spanish Proverb
I was participating in a great discussion going on over at Riding Solo about motivation and procrastination (when I was supposed to be working on something else) and Nina mentioned this post. So of course I stopped working and read it.
Is procrastination stopping you from getting your stuff done?
I’m curious. What tasks inspire you to procrastinate? What do you do when you procrastinate? Leave a comment below.

Haha, funny that my procrastination article helped you procrastinate! It’s a vicious cycle!
I think the video you shared is spot on. Working from home means that you are constantly distracted with a million different tasks. It’s often hard to put the tasks aside and focus on the main goal(s) you want to accomplish for the day.
Thanks Nina! It is a vicious cycle! lol. Today is much better and I am focused! I usually write out what I want to do the night before and try to start with the most important thing on the list. That way if I do lose momentum or get interrupted I have the important stuff finished.
I dig your idea of starting with the most important thing on the list.Sometimes it can be tempting to save the ‘cool stuff’ for later but end up pushing things aside after a while before you even got to the ‘cool stuff’
Success Man,
Thanks! I think it is important to be open to ideas that can help us overcome procrastination. Do you have any tips or tricks that you use to stay focused when you feel like procrastinating?
